The 4th day of the Chapter began with a special prayer service at 6.30 a.m. paying homage to our beloved Founder Msgr. John Kottaram as we commemorated his 18th death anniversary.
Most Rev.Dr.George Antony Samy, the Archbishop of the Madras – Mylapore presided over the Holy Mass together with Rev.Fr.Peter Thumma, the Canonist & Rev.Fr. S.Maria Arul, the Chapter Facilitator.
The Archbishop presided over the election process of the Superior General.
Srs.Antony Xavier Amali and Arockia Gracy who were appointed as scrutinizers distributed the ballot papers
Rev. Sr.Alice peter was re-elected as new Superior General.

The new Superior General Rev. Sr. Alice Peter and her Councilors Sr. Jenipher, Sr. Sheena Joseph, Sr. Gnana Soundary, and Sr. Gnana Roseline Mary cut the cake and shared their joy together with the Assembly and expressed their gratitude individually.
Srs. Gnana Roseline Mary, Kartherine Iruthaya Malar and Santhana Mary conducted the prayer in the morning and in the evening on the theme ‘Called to exercise the Spiritual Motherhood.’
We concluded the day’s proceedings at 8.20 p.m.
