Genesis of Seva Rural Community College

The congregation of the Seva Missionary Sisters of Mary was founded by Msgr.John Kottaram on 26th July 1974.
His dream and vision for a congregation is to provide support and empowering the families, according to the values and principles of Christ.
The SEVA RURAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE was inagurated on 8th September 2009 by Rev. Sr. JESSY, P.D. the former Mother General of SMSM and blessed by Rev. Fr. IGNATIUS THOMAS, Parish priest of Infant Jesus Shrine, Manali New Town, to fulfill the dream of Msgr.John Kottaram.

To protect and promote their life and dignity of women and youngsters among the low income groups from rural areas.

To accompany and to empower poor families in rural areas through our active involvement and total commitment.

Gold Medal has been awarded by the TNOU to Ms.MOHANALAKSHMI of our first batch student for her out standing performance in her DCAS university exam.

Village Exposure

Village exposure were organized in the neighborhood to sensitize the masses concerning our social problems and Street theaters were arranged to give vivid experiences of such social evils for the public awareness.

Hostel facilities to be provided.
Welcoming local contribution for the poor students for their studies from the local donors.
